New additions to the Sheerline PVC verandah and decking range offer caravan owners and park operators the perfect way to achieve holiday homes which combine great looks with easy cleaning, comfort and long term hassle-free performance.

Thanks to investment in advanced new production technology by Sheerline system manufacturer L.B. Plastics, the range now offers a new decking plank which cleverly brings together the visual appeal of a woodgrain finish with the benefits that a smooth surface offers in terms of comfort, rainwater run-off and limited dirt retention.

Available in various colours, the new decking plank offers excellent slip resistance which maximises the safety of verandahs where children often play. It also provides an extremely comfortable surface to walk on ? even in bare feet. Like all products in the Sheerline range it offers the reassurance of being manufactured from PVC that is completely free of lead additives.

Sheerline's product manager Richard Sampson says, "Our new decking plank gives caravan owners and park operators a new option for verandahs which will help them differentiate themselves in the tough economic climate. The development has been made possible through our continuous new product development and investment in state of the art extrusion technology.

"We have been able to achieve excellent slip resistance by creating a surface finish which is embossed rather than ribbed like a typical woodgrain finish. One of the key benefits of this relatively smooth finish is that it doesn't retain dirt, sand and surface water in the same way that textured surfaces can. It is also a particularly comfortable surface to walk on."

The second new product in the Sheerline range is a slimline handrail bracket which helps to improve the visual appeal of the whole verandah. Securing the handrail to each of the upright posts, the new bracket is designed to give the balustrade a more streamlined look and it is fully colour coordinated.
