Brookwood Farm - how it took shape
The foundations are in place and the first row of ICF Tech's insulating concrete forms are in position.
New homes take shape quickly at Brookwood Farm with the ICF Tech insulating concrete forms being extremely easy to handle and cut to size.
The ICF Tech insulating concrete forms for the ground floor walls are almost complete to above head height, with window and door formers in place to ensure accurate openings for the installation of Sheerframe windows and Masterdors further down the line.
The ICF Tech walls allowed for rapid construction of the envelope to the roof height. Here the roof construction is well under way and the Sheerframe window installation has commenced.

With the roofs and external red brick skin, the new Brookwood Farm homes are designed with a traditionally English urban feel. The latest low carbon home building technology provided by The Litchfield Group allows for exactly this type of construction, which is particularly important in areas where local planning requirements prevent more contemporary architecture.
The finished semi-detached family homes which provide a model approach to the construction of low and zero carbon homes.
