Coil Springs .... Compression and Tension

In this, one of our main areas of production, manufacturing facilities enable us to produce compression, tension and torsion springs in every type and size of material. We have recently installed one of the most advanced computer aided machines available in Europe - part of a continuing development of production capability.

A variety of surface treatments and coverings is available.

Flat Strip

A range of manufacturing techniques enable Litchfield Brothers to supply flat shapes and pressings in most sizes and degrees of complexity in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. Heat treatment and special surface finishes can be applied where specified.

Wire Forming

The complexity of many wire forming operations demand a high degree of expertise both in toolmaking and production techniques from hand operated jigs for smaller operations to fully automatic equipment where production of millions is required.
